Within Google Ads you can set up a script that automatically detects for broken links. Broken links may occur when URLs are changed or when a page may be experiencing issues due to abnormal traffic loads – an increasingly common issue during seasonal periods, such as Black Friday.
A broken link script will run every day and check all of the links of all ads within your Google Ads account. It will then alert you by email if there is a problem, and log the error in a spreadsheet.
That allows you to go in, investigate the issues and fix the link.
